From the first conversation to your certificates, you will always know what happens next and what is required of you.

  1. Initial Consultation

We'll discuss your ceremony, answer any questions, and determine the service that best suits your needs.

Together, we'll plan the details of your ceremony, discuss your preferences, and ensure everything is prepared for your special day.

  3. Notice of Intended Marriage

I'll guide you through completing and lodging your Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM), ensuring everything is completed correctly before your ceremony.

  4. Your Ceremony

I'll officiate your civil marriage, Islamic Nikkah, or both, creating a meaningful and memorable ceremony.

  5. Registration

Following your ceremony, I'll complete the required legal documentation and lodge your marriage with the relevant authorities where applicable.

  6. Certificates & Documentation

I'll provide the relevant certificates and documentation applicable to your chosen service.

Before your ceremony

Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM)

The Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) is the first step towards your legal marriage in Australia. This form must be completed and lodged with your chosen marriage celebrant at least one month before your wedding date.

Once lodged, the NOIM remains valid for up to 18 months, giving you plenty of time to plan your special day with confidence.

To make the process as simple as possible, you can download the NOIM form below and complete it before our consultation. If you have any questions or need assistance completing the form, I'm here to guide you every step of the way.

FAQs

Questions couples ask first

If your question is not here, send it through and I will answer it directly.

All questions
  • Yes, and most couples do. I can perform both, either on the same day as one continuous ceremony or on separate dates. The civil ceremony is what makes the marriage legally recognised in Australia; the Nikkah fulfils the Islamic requirements. Doing both through one celebrant means the paperwork and the religious side stay aligned.
